Personal writing
These are poems I've written the last few years

Miserable Notion by Mateo Lopez
I’m waiting around for something to drop like an anvil
The mind is encumbered with guilt
Its impossible to be silent and stand still
This entire life is a prison I’ve built
I am better to be mute to put all around in joy
The nightmares continue to grow make a soul mad
Crimson Daydream by Mateo Roberto Lopez
I wish to look up and see something I could admire
A glimpse of a wonderous spectacle would do
The hidden treasure it is makes it stand out like fire
All those beneath the sky
I could stare at your figure for hours on end
There is no other thing I’d rather do then to eventually ascend
No need to look anywhere else but your grace
Nothing gives me more joy than to stare at your face
The thought of you gives me chills like no one in the world
I’d like to imagine to be with you in a bed curled

Distance by Mateo R. Lopez
Mankind is unkind
Cruel in nature by a way of making us divide
No real way to let someone shine
Its okay
Was going to die anyway
